Brian was an absolutely fantastic tour guide! He was knowledgeable, entertaining and so engaging. Our group had 14 people in it. Small enough for us to all hear him, ask our questions and move easily through the crowded streets. We learned so much about Dublin’s history. He was also a wealth of information on other things to see on oir own as well as restaurants, pubs, etc. i would absolutely recommend this tour, without reservation! Hopefully you are lucky enough to get Brian as your guide.

I have been to Dublin so many times on business in the past, but never had the opportunity to enjoy it at a different speed and breathe in the city. We were very fortunate to have Brian as our guide famously descended from the high king, and with as much grace he showed us his city. He was very happy to answer questions (even with the best method of reading Ulysses) and enriched every moment. Each statue had a story and even a lawn had its own part in the rich history Brian shared. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend the tour which ended up perfectly in the Guinness brewery bar with views across the whole city. If you one have a day it is well spent in Brian’s care.

This tour was great. We lucked out and there was a small number of us in the group, and Brian did an excellent job making sure we learned about the various history of the sites, the history of Ireland, and answered our many questions. He was very attentive and ensured we were getting what we wanted out of this tour. We would highly recommend this tour and Brian.

Brian has a passion for Irish history that is contagious; he made me want to learn more about Ireland's fascinating and complicated history. His storytelling style was compelling and powerful. He also has a playful sense of humor that was appreciated! And, I liked the fact that Brian clearly laid out our schedule: first we'll do this, it will take this long, then we'll do this, etc..... Highly recommended, this is an experience not to be missed!

He explained the history very well but took breaks so it was not so overwhelming for us! He was patient, answered questions and really encouraged the group to participate. This was an excellent tour of The Book of Kells in Trinity College and the outside of Dublin Castle. Our tour guide, Brian, was the BEST. Brian Molloy (Malloy in the US) was our guide. He is tops!! I could have spent my whole trip to Dublin with him. I felt special and like we were able to go to the head of the line, hear and learn things that people around us weren’t privy to and he was so funny. Sometimes the anticipation of a tour is filled with worry of BORING. Not Brian!! The experience was facts and history meet theatre. He was dramatic, passionate and funny, keeping us engaged and wanting more. Our group actually bonded because of him and we’re having dinner with some of them tonight. He makes stories about books, religion, conflict, war and community interesting and compelling. Take his tour and open your mind to where he will transport you!
